Meet the Team

Kevin Tsoi – Executive Director of Strategy Known as the ‘thinker’, Kevin co-founded Well of Change and sets the long-term direction of the organization. Prior to this, Kevin worked on business strategy at MyThum Interactive Inc., creating new market opportunities in the mobile media space. Kevin also held multiple engineering positions at leading Canadian companies, such as Research In Motion and Workbrain. He was the architect of several high availability enterprise software systems. Kevin has a Bachelors of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Christine Ho – Executive Director of Operations Known as the ‘executor’, Christine co-founded Well of Change and manages the overall execution. An entrepreneur at heart, Christine jumpstarted C Ho & Associates an event marketing firm, and BriefCaseLive a skills building workshop based on real life business cases. Prior to that, she worked for TELUS to identify business process opportunities. Christine has Bachelor of Business Administration & Bachelor of Science in Computer Electronics from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Zaheed Poptia – Business Development Advisor Zaheed is the vice-president of Signal Hill Equity Partners. He graduated from the Harvard Business School with an M.B.A. and previously received an Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School, University of Western Ontario. He has completed all three levels of the CFA program.

Rulix Batistil – Lead Architect Rulix has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and has been an IT professional for over 10 years specializing in systems analysis and software engineering. He’s spent the last five years doing Java/J2EE technical architecture and enterprise software development. Rulix has worked with global consulting companies such as Accenture as a Systems analyst/Team Lead, doing Online Banking and other research and development projects. He has varied interest from technology, science, history, music, culture, people, and has a passion to help and contribute to whatever improves lives.

Kathy Chan – Membership Development

Karen Clumpus – Director of Human Resources Karen comes to us with ten years’ progressive experience in human resource cycle including recruitment, training and strategic initiatives. She is an avid volunteer and has been a regular contributor to the Royal Ontario Museum for the past three years.

Alex Corotchi – Web Designer Alex is experience in web development and is knowledgeable in web standards, usability and accessibility issues, and search engine optimization strategies. He possesses an in-depth knowledge of various modern technologies, operating system functions techniques and legacy code optimization.

Guowei Ding – Sr. Software Developer Guowei has over 8 years of extensive OOP experience in all phases of SDLC using Java and J2EE technologies. He has held senior application development positions from industry leaders such as IBM Canada.  Guowei holds a Masters in Computer Science from Xidian University, and a Bachelors in Computer Science from Xinjiang University.

Bonnie Lui – Project and Event Manager Bonnie heads Bonnie Lui Events which provide professional event management with a splash of creativity. Their specialty services cater to a wide array of assortments extending from product launches & client receptions to fundraising & corporate galas.

Tracey Mori – Director of Marketing A marketing professional with more than seven years of progressive experience in B2B communications, promotion and product management. A creative and strategic thinker with strong project management and design skills. Tracey is a regular supporter of non-profit organizations such as DREAMS Inc and various food banks and is excited to be a part of the Well of Change team.

Valencia Rodrigues – Manager of Fundraising

Emmanuel Rodriguez – Product Manager Emmanuel has been in systems development for most of his career and has held various roles including Applications Development, Business Systems Analysis and Project Management. In a previous role, Emmanuel managed multiple websites for Sony of Canada Ltd.. and helped define their web content management strategy. He is glad to be a part of a great Well of Change team and help make an impact in the community.

Nasir Virani – Director of Strategy & Finance Nasir is a results-driven professional with a progressive management career in public accounting, business ventures and international development. He is a strong advocate in bringing 'business' best practices to the non-profit sector by growing new programs and institutions. Nasir is a chartered accountant.
