Join our core team in thee strategic role of recruitment, retention and support of associations & charities to enable sustainable growth and delivery of the Well of Change program throughout urban Ontario. Working with the founders and board of advisors, your role encompasses planning, management, and timely, measured execution of the marketing, recruitment, retention, and promotion functions as they relate to the strategic element – Volunteers. This role works collaboratively with all members of the Well of Change team through effective communication, participation in project teams, and overall collaboration, in order to ensure meaningful and timely results, through executing the objectives and tasks of the business plan. This role is a contributing member of the Management Team and shares in the responsibility of enabling a progressive and sustainable organization.

If you are motivated by social change and have the following:

• A minimum of 5 years of successful team management experience
• Graduate degree (or equivalent tangible experience) in adult education, community development, volunteer development or relevant area of study
• Effective communication skills
• In depth experience in volunteer training and policy management
• Practical knowledge and use of on-line education/delivery models
Tangible experience in developing and supporting volunteers and boards
• Transferrable experience in growing an organization’s impacts & outcomes

The ideal candidate has proven excellence in:

• Microsoft Office Suite and database use
• Influential communications, including written, oral and multimedia
• Management of self via execution of a weekly, quarterly & annual plan
• Budget development and management
• Conducting research in support of change planning and execution

The applicant's key responsibilities will include using their artistic eye to set up web pages and converting content to web format. The position requires the ability to write HTML, JavaScript & CSS code. Good communication skills are required.

• Excellent knowledge of cross-browsers incompatibilities
• Search Engine Optimization strategies
• Good knowledge of web standards, usability and accessibility issues
